Official Opening - The Thomas MacDonagh Centre and relocated library will be officially opened on this Friday, 3rd May by Government Minister Jimmy Deenihan T.D. The MacDonagh family will be represented by Mrs Muriel McAuley. The Thomas MacDonagh Pipe Band will give a recital on Main Street prior to the opening of the Centre. Lower Main Street will be closed to traffic during the opening ceremony. All are invited to attend the opening on Friday evening.

Sunday Talk - As part of the Thomas MacDonagh celebrations a Sunday Talk chaired by Dr. Peader Kirby and given by Honor O’Brolchain, a grand-niece of poet and patriot Joseph Mary Plunkett will take place in the G.A.A clubroom on this Sunday, 5th May at 8pm. All are welcome to attend.

First Holy Communion - First Holy Communion takes place in Kilruane Church on this Sunday, 5th May at 12 noon.
