History, Tradition and Heritage - In the last two years, two very memorable events took place in our parish. In 2010, we celebrated the production of Open Air Oklahoma and in 2012, we had our Eucharistic Congress. During both events, we had a wonderful community response from so many people. Community co-operation, generosity of spirit and parish pride was very evident during these events. On this Sunday, 16th December, two plaques will be unveiled commemorating these events. These plaques will be erected at the entrance to Boherlahan Church. At the conclusion of 11am Mass, there will be a short formal ceremony in the Church and then everyone will proceed outside for the unveiling.
Cuardaiocht - Another get together will take place on this Thursday night, 20th December in Ardmayle Church at 8pm. Come along, you will enjoy it.
Defibrillator Fund Raising - Little Flower N.S. Parents Association would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for supporting our recent fund raisers for a school/community defibrillator. We are delighted to announce that the sum of 3,023.19 euro was raised. In the New Year we will be busy organising the defibrillator group and holding training courses in the school.
GAA A.G.M. - Will be held on Sunday, 6th January at 3.00pm in the Sports Centre, Boherlahan.
Christmas Carol Service - We hope to hold our Christmas Carol Service in St. Johns Church, Ardmayle on Tuesday, 18th December. Members of the Boherlahan and Dualla choirs will take part. Come along and join with them in preparation.
Priests Collection - The Priests Christmas Collection will be taken up at all Masses this weekend. This is the last opportunity to meet this year’s targets as set by the Diocesan Common Fund. Spare envelopes available in the Church Porch.
Christmas Penitential Services - In Boherlahan on Monday, 17th December from 7pm to 8pm and in Dualla on Friday, 21st December from 6pm to 7pm.
Dualla NS Book of Memories - Plans are continuing to launch a book on Dualla NS. We hope to include stories and memories of past and present students. We hope to have all our material in by the second week of December. If you would like to be part of this noble endeavour, please put pen to paper as soon as possible. Items can be handed in to the school or to any member of the committee. The response has been good, but there is more stuff out there.
