Mass Times - Mass times in Urlingford Church this weekend: Saturday 7pm and Sunday 9am. There will be no 11.30am Mass this Sunday. Graine Mass is Sunday at 10am.
Social Dancing - Your monthly social dancing in Urlingford Hall is on Tuesday, October 2nd. Music by Michael Sexton. Dancing from 9.30pm to 12.30am. Supper served. You are invited to come along and enjoy a good night.
Location of Defibrillator - While Graine Hall is being re-developed the defibrillator will be located in the Church Sacristy. Key holders are Ann Pembroke, Canon Dunphy, Helen Healy, Fr. O. Maher.
Volunteers Needed - This is a volunteer delivered transport initiative in which the Irish Cancer Society recruits and trains volunteer drivers to transport cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment to and from their hospital appointments. We are currently looking for volunteers to drive patients to and from Waterford Regional Hospital. The service is free to both the patient and the hospital with the Irish Cancer Society incurring all costs. Volunteers use their own cars and the Irish Cancer Society pays drivers for their fuel, all tolls and offer E8 per trip towards some food/drink (receipted). Bible Timeline - (Story of Salvation). A 24-week DVD (with study notes) Bible Study course will commence in Urlingford towards the end of September and will finish at Easter 2013. Once a week at the venue (to be decided as well as cost) and one night at home. It will cover the Old and New Testaments and is divided into 12 colour-coded time periods to simplify it. Once we get a grasp of the ‘big picture’ the Mass readings begin to make more sense and our scripture reading and study come to life.
