Moneygall - Dunkerrin

Thank You - Dunkerrin Church of Ireland Parishioners wish to thank everybody who came and supported their Dog Show and Sale on Sunday, 15th July. Special word of thanks to all the sponsors and all the people that contributed to the stalls. A big thank you to the people outside the parish who came and helped to run the event. Also thank you to Dunkerrin Hall committee for helping us out in every way. There was a good turn out and financially we were very pleased.

Night Vigil - The Killaloe Diocesan Night Vigil to Knock Shrine will take place on Friday, 3rd August. Bus leaving at 4.30 p.m. on that evening. Fare will be 15 euro. Booking with Catherine Whyte (0505) 21039. Booking is essential.

Moneygall Dunkerrin Barna Social Services - There will be no Chiropodist Clinic for the month of August. On this weekend Saturday and Sunday, 28th and 29th July they will be holding their annual church gate collection before the Masses at Dunkerrin, Barna and Moneygall, your very generous support will be much appreciated. Annual Outing will be on Wednesday, 8th August to Kilkenny. Bus leaving Moneygall at 12.30 and Dunkerrin at

1 p.m. We go to Nicholas Moss Pottery in Bennettsbridge and here we will have tea and scones. This will be followed by a 40 minute train journey of the medieval sites of the city. Back to Mitchel House Restaurant in Thurles for a 3 course meal and an Irish Night in the Monks Bar afterwards. Cost of the day will be 30 euro. Please give your name if you intend travelling to Molly or Irene on or before 5th August.

Wedding Bells - Congratulations and every good wish for the future are extended to Deirdre Treacy and Philip Doyle who were married in St. Mary’s Church, Dunkerrin recently.
