Gratitude - Many thanks to all who made the effort to come out for the litter picking evening in Lorrha village and approach roads recently. To those who continue to work away behind the scenes in their effort to keep the village looking well, we offer thanks also. Another work evening will be arranged shortly.
Well Done - Congratulations to all the staff and pupils of Scoil Naomh Ruadháin, Redwood who have been awarded their 3rd Green flag, the theme of which is Water. The flag will be presented at an Awards Ceremony in Athlone on 23rd May. Well done to everybody involved.
St. Ruadhan’s Active Retirement - On the 9th of May we were lucky enough to have a lovely sunny morning to walk in the forest park. We completed a 4k and felt revigourated. This was followed by a beautifully presented meal at the golf club. Thanks to Cathal and his staff for looking after us so well. On Wednesday 16th May Redwood school children will entertain us at the hall at 1.30p.m. All are welcome.
