Librarians Retire - After 40 years in the Library service almost 30 spent as Tipperary County Librarian, Martin Maher, a native of Boulabeha has retired from his onerous position. In his dealings with the public, Martin was always courteous and helpful. He was one of the founding members of Moyne Templetuohy History Group and provided immense assistance towards bringing that undertaking to a successful conclusion. Martin’s twin brother, Gerard who also served 40 years in the Library service and was Laois’ County Librarian for many years has also called it a day. Our best wishes go to Martin and Gerard for a long and happy retirement.

The next “big night” will be held towards the end of January at the same venue.
