News and events from Roscrea town this week
Through the support of NTLP H. Artlight is a free, fun, gathering of local people from the local community. The group meet four times a year to paint in the outdoors. Each session last approximately two hours. It is an opportunity for people to come together and encourage each other as they express themselves through art.
The first gathering of this local group based in Roscrea will take place on Saturday the 22nd of October. All are invited to come along to the Colaiste Phobal Ros Cré at 9.30am. Light refreshment will be offered during H’Artlight.

Council Works To Be Carried Out In Roscrea
Roscrea Chamber Of Commerce have welcomed news that funding will be made available to construct a footpath from the Limerick Road Roundabout to the Templemore Roundabout. This popular walking area posed a serious safety risk and the Chamber is delighted to this been addressed. In other works. The Chamber has organised a meeting with the County Manager and the town engineer to discuss this matters in addition to numerous other issues including signage, derelict building and a landscaping plan for the town.
