Nenagh pupils take part in Science Forward programme in Limerick

St. Mary’s Convent and CBS in Nenagh will take part in this year’s Science Forward programme at Limerick Institute of Technology and the University of Limerick.

St. Mary’s Convent and CBS in Nenagh will take part in this year’s Science Forward programme at Limerick Institute of Technology and the University of Limerick.

The Bord Gais Networks, in partnership with Junior Achievement Ireland, programme introduces sixth class primary students to the world of science and technology through hands-on experiments and interactive workshops.

The programme, now in its third year, will run from November 11 to 15, with over 320 pupils particpating. Learning how the brain functions, the dangers of carbon monoxide and identifying fingerprints are among the features of the programme’s experiments and workshops.
