St. John The Baptist Girls School is holding a Family Fun Day on Sunday 23rd of June at the School, and the proceeds will go towards the School’s Building fund.

Sean Laffey who has run field days for the Cashel Summer festival told us that “we have a great team in place and the field day is shaping up to be a memorable end to the school year and will be a much needed boost for the school’s building funds”.

He told us we could expect plenty of traditional field day activities, such a Dog Show, a Glamorous Granny competition, a wheel of fortune run by the inimitable Joan Skeffington. We’ll have dad’s tug of war, four bouncy castles, some wacky games, a chance to test your hurling and golf skills and for those musically inclined Cashel’s Air Guitar Festival.

The day will run from 2 – 6pm and is great value at €10 for a family of two adults and two children (extra children at €2 each). For that tanner you’ll get 10 tokens to spend straight away on the bouncy castles or at one of the many side stalls.
