Tidy Towns Thank You - The Tidy Towns committee would sincerely like to thank the 21 adults and 4 kids who helped with the “An Taisce” clean-up last Saturday. 85 bags of litter were collected in total from our roads. Also a thank you to those that cleaned up their estates. Lots of great work done by some. Unfortunately we didn’t get to all roads as there was not enough volunteers to cover all areas. We can provide litter bags and gloves to anyone who would like to do their area. We will even come and collect the litter from you once you have it collected so that you won’t incur any costs. We are asking if anybody knows the individual that is dumping the green plastic bags on all the approach roads to Ballingarry, would they please report them to the Environment Section Immediately. The bags contain ashes and vegetable skins and are becoming an eyesore on our roads.
