A.G.M. - Local Association for Children & Adults with Learning Disabilities will hold their A.G.M. in the Legion Hall Moneygall on Monday, 15th April at 8.30pm. Joan Dunne will give a brief synopsis of her work as “Early Intervention Programmer” with Enable Ireland. Your support would be appreciated on the night.

Lourdes - Bishop Kieran O’Reilly SMA will lead this year’s Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes from June 26th to 1st July. Direct from Shannon Airport 670 euro incl. Irish Dance - Big congratulations and well done to Cathal Doughan, Clynoe (John and Susan’s son) who came 8th in the World Irish Dancing Championships in Boston.

I.C.A. - Our A.G.M. took place in our local Community Centre on April 4th last. Anne Clarke, our Information Specialist attended. The North Tipperary Federation A.G.M. will take place in Ballingarry on 22nd April. Guest Speaker for the evening will be from Sheppard’s Opticians who will give a talk on ‘Care of the Eye’. Officers for the coming year are as follows: President, Bridget Toohey; Secretary, Mary McGee; Asst. Secretary, Mary Fanning; Treasurer, Paula Sutton; Hostess, Kathleen Carroll, P.R.O., Mary Hogan. Winner of our Short Story Competition for last month was Bridget Toohey. Mary McGee, our Secretary gave us a report of our activities for last year and Paula Sutton, our Treasurer, gave us a financial report for the previous year. Our meeting concluded and Bridget thanked Anne for attending and we finished with a lovely cup of tea etc., Our next meeting will be on 2nd May.
