Helping people to manage personal stress

In today’s uncertain and very often chaotic world feeling well or having a sense of wellbeing is hard to achieve and comes very far down on priority lists. Stress and Anxiety, on the other hand, are the norms for many people, uncertainty, worry, lack of resources and dreaded fear for the future are the realities of life in twenty first century Ireland.

In today’s uncertain and very often chaotic world feeling well or having a sense of wellbeing is hard to achieve and comes very far down on priority lists. Stress and Anxiety, on the other hand, are the norms for many people, uncertainty, worry, lack of resources and dreaded fear for the future are the realities of life in twenty first century Ireland.

Chronic stress is long associated with chronic disease, improving wellness and reducing stress, not only improves health and well being in the short term, but contributes to a relatively disease-free life in the future. Stress triggers seizures in people with epilepsy.

As a consequence, Epilepsy Ireland has organised a day in Limerick on Saturday, 4th May in the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel in Castletroy to help people to manage personal stress and anxiety, explore the issues that contribute to the current difficulties in life and understand how to deal with them before it has an adverse effect.
