U/14 ‘B’ County Semi Final - Cappawhite though to county Final, Cappawhite 3-11; Gortnahoe 1-01. Cappawhite were convincing winners of this county semi-final played on Saturday last in Golden. The first half was a great game of hurling and Cappawhite lead at the break by 2-06 to 0-1. However the second half proved to be less entertaining with the game littered with a number of yellow card offences on both sides. This resulted in a less free flowing game. Cappawhite were very unlucky to have received a red card for what seemed like a booking offence. Cappawhite now go on to contest the county ‘B’ Final. Well done to the team and their mentors in a great year so far for the U/14’s.

Cappawhite are 2012 West Champions and deservedly so after soaking up some serious pressure in Annacarty on Monday evening last. Cappawhite dominated the first half against the breeze and led by 1-08 to 0-0 at the break. But Fair play to Arravale who never dropped the heads and fought back with 7 points in the second half however it wasn’t enough to cut the margin and Cappawhite’s two second half points was enough to put the game beyond reach.
