World Language Day

A wide variety of activities was organised by Mr Fahy and Ms Tuohy to commemorate World Language Day on Monday 26th September. Transition Year students made language posters that they displayed throughout the school to raise awareness. The students played language games. They enjoyed a French breakfast and watched a French film. This immersion in French was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Our senior boys played a challenge match against Borrisoleigh on Wednesday 21st September. They played well and the final result was a one all draw. Good luck to the team in the first round of the John Murphy Cup which will be played this week.

U15 Hurling

The first outing of the year was a practise match against Borrisoleigh. We played them in a challenge match on 21st September. Those who showed most promise on our side were Philip O Sullivan, Aidan Butler, Gavin Dunne and Patrick Maher.
