New Futures Farming Group will discuss secirity at its next meeting on Tuesday, September 2, in the Hibernian Inn, Nenagh. The meeting will be attended by a Garda representative and a local security firm.

Meanwhile, the group visited the headquarters of Arrabawn Co-Op, Nenagh, where they were given a tour by Tom Ryan and Ger Ryan. The tour covered all stages of processing and production.
Following the tour, Brendan Kennedy gave a detailed presentation on the history of Arrabawn , how it is positioned today and plans for the coming years.
The group also visited historic Dungar cemetery, Roscrea with guide, local historian and cemetery caretaker Liam Moloney.
As part of Heritage Week, the group will visit Fancroft Mill, Roscrea on Thursday, September 28. This working mill will give us an insight into how previous generations of farmers used the mill to provide feed for their stock.
