On Friday September the 6th Ireland took on the Swedish in the Aviva Stadium in a World Cup qualifying match which unfortunately Ireland lost 2/1 but what a game to take a group of kids and adults to see.
When Roscrea United had their open day and FAI President John Delaney came to open our new Home ground he gave us an opportunity to go watch one of Ireland’s home games and Steven Glynn set about to make this happen, so last Friday night we took 108 adults and children from the club and from Kennedy Park to watch this game.
We had an amazing outing and even though Ireland lost the look on the Childrens faces when the entered the stadium and than the stands just said it all. They all knew their players and they all seemed to come to Watch the Great Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robbie Keane. They shouted and cheered their home team on but at last it was not to be.
We would like to thank John Delaney for the Tickets Stephen Glynn for getting it all started to everyone who helped the organizers and to Andrew Walsh for the buses thanks to all the children for the great effort they put in singing and keeping us entertained and for the good behaviour. Heres to the next Adventure!
