Juvenile G.A.A.

Our U/12 hurlers are still going strong and last Thursday evening we played Rosegreen in a very exciting game. We started strong and scored some lovely points but three quick Rosegreen goals just before half time left us trailing 4-1 to 1-3 at the break. We stepped up our game in the second half and added on some great points. With time running out we trailed by a point but Eoin Marnane proved our lifesaver with the equaliser just at the whistle. Final Score Golden 2-8 Rosegreen 4-2. Full panel Jack Leamy, Thomas Fogarty, Daniel Ryan, Luke Bennett, David Sinclair, Jack Currivan, Eoin Marnane, Eimear Heffernan, Meg Ormonde, Bradley Barry, Luke Keane, Mikey Bergin, Cory Luby.

On Saturday Cashel U/10’s paid us a visit and we had a very exciting game against our near neighbours. All the skills of the game were displayed by both teams and in a very close game we ran out winners with just two points to spare. Final Score Golden 4.7 Cashel, 5.2. Well done to all our boys and girls and keep up the good work. Full Panel Cian Ryan, Luke Keane, Thomas Fogarty, Paddy Crowe, Brian Marnane, Sinead Horan, Jack Leamy, Jack Lonergan, Jane McLoughlin, Bobby Smith, Ben Currivan, Daniel O’Dwyer, Laurence Forrester.
