The initiative funded by Muintir na Tire, is called Digital Recollections. The children are seeking volunteers over 75 years of age and who attended school in either Boherlahan or Ardmayle. If interested please call in to the school or ring (087) 8553484 at any time. The interviews will ask questions regarding games of long ago, food, fairs, songs, your townsland, immigration in your area, ruins and castles and what changes you have seen in your time. You will not be asked about your personal life. It is hoped to launch a website archiving this valuable information for future historians.
