Christmas Lights - Ballingarry Christmas Street Lighting and lighting the tree at the cross will take place on Saturday, December 8th at 8p.m. (after evening Mass).  Fr. Quirke will bless the lights which will be turned on by Santa Claus who will meet the children and accept their letters. You are invited to place a red bow on the tree in remembrance of those who are not with us this year. Bows available on the night. Music at the cross and refreshments for everyone in Amby’s. Come along with family and friends to join in the celebrations. Contact Imelda (087) 2444819. Journal - Ballingarry Parish Journal 2012 is now on sale in all local shops & surrounding areas or from any committee member Price €10.The Committee would like to thank everyone for their contribution to the Journal, photographs & items all very much appreciated.

‘Me and My Girl’ - Presentation Secondary School, Ballingarry proudly presents the Transition year production of “Me and My Girl” in the Abymill Theatre, Fethard on the 7th and 8th of December. Show starts at 8.15 p.m. sharp. For more information about tickets please contact the school office (052) 9154104. All are welcome. The Old School, The Commons - Are holding their Annual Christmas Fair on December 9th from 2 - 5 p.m. Homemade and Craft Stalls. Visit Santa in his Grotto in The Old School with present and photograph €5. If you are interested in having a stall selling your crafts/goods on the day the charge is €10. We would appreciate if people could donate any cakes/ buns for our Cake Stand. Thank you for all the support you have given us to date, it is very much appreciated.

Thanks - Lisnamrock Parents Council would like to thank those who supported our recent Church Gate Collection. €570 was raised.

Parish Raffle - The Annual Parish Raffle will take place on 8th December immediately after Mass. Tickets are presently being distributed to all households in the parish. Your continued support is greatly appreciated. Please return tickets with remittance to the Sacristy or Tobin’s Shop on or before 7th December. Your continued support is greatly appreciated. There is no Sale of Work this year – what a pity.

Holy Day - Saturday, 8th December, the feast of the Immaculate Conception, is a Holy Day of obligation. Mass at 10.30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Mass on Friday, 7th December, the vigil of the Holy Day, at 7 p.m.
