GERMAN retail giant Aldi has another two weeks to furnish further information to Cashel’s planning office, or plans for a major store in Indaville on Boherclough street will lapse.

Plans to build a single storey discount foodstore (including an off-licence) with a floor area of 1.435sqm to the rear of Indaville - a protected structure - have stirred up strong local opposition. The Cashel Town Walls - considered a National Monument - are also located within the site.
