Tipperary North Macra talent competition

The Tipperary round of the Macra National Talent Competition was held last Friday and the results of the competition were as follows. Ballad Group: Clodagh Macra, Novelty Act: Devilsbit Macra, Solo Singing: Michael Kirwan (Nenagh Macra), Comedy Act: Con McGrath (Devilsbit Macra) and the Mastermind Competition: Michael Mockler(Fethard Macra).

The Tipperary round of the Macra National Talent Competition was held last Friday and the results of the competition were as follows. Ballad Group: Clodagh Macra, Novelty Act: Devilsbit Macra, Solo Singing: Michael Kirwan (Nenagh Macra), Comedy Act: Con McGrath (Devilsbit Macra) and the Mastermind Competition: Michael Mockler(Fethard Macra).

All will go on to represent Tipperary in the regional finals of the National Talent Competition. The county executives of North & South Tipperary would like to that the Devilsbits club for hosting the event which was held in the Village Hall, Clonmore.

Also present on the night were Michael Mockler and James Healy, the two vice presidential candidates for the Macra Munster Vice-Presidency. Both addressed the assembled crowd who heard what the candidates vision for the vice-presidency entailed.

Aisling Lewis, candidate for the Macra presidency also took time out from her busy schedule to canvas the crowd ahead of the upcoming macra elections in which each club will be voting this month.

The county round of the macra volleyball competition will take places this Friday in Gortnahoe Hall at 9pm, all clubs are reminded to let the competitions secretary know if they have a team entry for the competition.
