Public Meeting - Killaloe/Ballina Family Resource Centre (KBFRC) and North Tipperary County Council along with Health Promotion Services HSE West would like to invite men from the locality to an information evening about a very exciting project (The Men’s Shed) that will shortly commence in the district. This meeting will be held in KBFRC’s Community Cafe, Main Street, Killaloe on January 21st at 7.30pm. Paul Gillen, Health Promotion Services HSE, will introduce the notion of establishing a ‘men’s shed’ in Killaloe/Ballina. Men’s sheds are currently being established all around the country with a view to bringing men, who have time on their hands, together in a ‘shed’ environment and become involved in a range of activities that will increase their participation in the life of their community and with their circle of friends.
