Our next night out was on the 11th December in the County Final in Thurles Sarsfields Centre at 7 p.m. There was twenty teams, five from each division. There were eight rounds of eight questions. At half time we were in the lead by two points, with a total of thirty one points out of thirty two. At the end there were two tie breakers, for 2nd and 5th. Luckily we weren’t in them. Our final score was sixty two out of sixty four. We received a big plaque for the school and we each received a small plaque and voucher for Lar na Pairce. We would like to thank our teachers, Mrs. Corcoran, Mr. Corcoran and also Mr. Harrington our past Principal and Mr. Ger Fogarty, past pupil who prepared us with lots of questions over the past two months.
