C.L.C.G. Naomh Padraig - On Saturday last our U/21 hurlers qualified for the South Tipperary final with a 3-12 to 2-8 victory over Skeheenarinka in Monroe. Our U/21 hurlers will play Carrick Swans in the South final on this Saturday afternoon, 19th November at 2.30 p.m. in Monroe.
Congratulations to Cathal Foley who won the Co. Tipperary final of the U/8 hurling skills competition held in Dr. Morris Park, Thurles recently. Cathal qualified from the St. Patricks Cul Camp held in Anner Park during the summer and will be presented with his prize at half time in a Nationals hurling league match in Semple Stadium next Spring. Other St. Patrick’s players who qualified for the County finals were Padraig O’Brien, Ben Hennessy, Eddie Hayes, Jack Cuddihy, Luke Fox. Erinn O’Brien and Eabha Hogan were the ladies representatives. We thank the parents and grandparents who drove our representatives to Dr. Morris Park for the County finals.
Table Quiz - St. Patrick’s Ladies Football club will hold a Table Quiz in the Archway Bar, Drangan on this Friday, 18th November at 9 p.m. Tables of 4 will cost 20 euro. Spot prizes will be presented on the night. Please come along and support.
On Saturday last Vivienne Noonan, Joy Chadbury, Eimear Kenny, Caoimhe McMenamin and Ciara Hogan helped the Co. Tipperary U/12 ladies development squad to victory over Clare in the final. Well done girls.
