The Late Timothy Dunne - The death occurred on Wednesday, April 13th peacefully at his residence of Timothy (Tim) Dunne of St. Patrick’s Terrace, Castletown. A very quiet and unassuming gentleman he is the last of his family to pass away. Tim is very sadly mourned by his sons and daughters, extended family, grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Reposing was at Guilfoyle’s Funeral Home. Removal took place on Saturday evening to St. Edmund’s Church. On Saturday, April 17th Requiem Mass was celebrated and burial followed in Churchtown Cemetery. Large crowds attended on both days to say farewell to Tim.

The Late David Finnamore: The death occurred peacefully at St James’s Hospital Dublin of David Finnamore of Kells, Co Meath and he was formerly from this area. He was the former husband of Violet and father of Des, Heather, Avrile and Malcom. His regretted by his sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends. Removal took place to Annatrim Church Coolrain. Funeral service was conducted on Friday April 15th followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
