McAuley Community Centre:

The Official Opening of McAuley Community Centre will take place on Fri 10th May at 7.30pm. This is a wonderful new facility for the local community and is already being used by many community groups. There is an open invitation to all to come to the official opening and to take the opportunity to view the premises for your-selves.

Light refreshments will be served.

Folk-Group Practice:

Resumes next Wed, 8th May in McAuley Centre at 8.30pm. New members always welcome to come along and join.

May Devotions:

Rosary will be recited each evening at 7pm during the month of May at the Grotto’s located in The Park, Lacey Avenue & Richmond Grove. You are welcome to join in the prayers any evening.

Killea Cultural Group are holding a public presentation of its proposed Village Enhancement & Landscape plans next Sunday, 12th May at 7.00pm in the GAA hall. All are welcome to attend this informative evening to be followed by a cheese & wine, tea & coffee reception.

Next Thursday 9th May in Our Lady’s Secondary School beginning with performances of students attending instrumental classes at 6.30pm followed by ‘Search for a Superstar’ at 8pm. All are welcome. Please come along and support music at Our Lady’s.

P.T.T.A

The annual Pioneer Pilgrimage to Knock Shrine takes place on Sunday June 9th. The bus will leave Templemore Arms Hotel at 8.20am sharp. A short break for light refreshments is envisaged in the morning. The bus will stop to enable all to get something more substantial on the way home. Tickets are €15 each and are available from any member of the Pioneer Council. All are welcome.

Templemore Ladies Football Club
Training continues Monday only for U8/U10s and Mondays and Wednesdays for U12/U14/U16.  The league stages of the U14 competition continue while the u12s are due to play their first game against Thurles next week at home.  Never too late for new members to get involved.

U16 Championship (Sponsored by Butler Cunningham & Molony)-  Report on County Final last Monday 6th will appear next week.

Best of luck to Christina Brennan and the Tipperary U14s who play Clare next Saturday in the Munster Final in Tipperary Town at 3pm.
