Diocesan Pilgrimage to Knock - The Annual Diocessan Pilgrimage to Knock takes place on Sunday, August 5th.  The usual Bus from Ballingarry and Gortnahoe will travel.  The bus leaves Ballingarry at 7.45 and will be in Ballysloe at 8.15 and Gortnahoe at 8.25.

Charge is 20 euro for adults and 10 euro for children.  Please give names to Fr. O’Rourke, Bridie O’Shea or Gortnahoe Post Office as soon as possible.

Gortnahoe Senior Citzens - Final arrangements are now in place for the two days break in Ennis on the 7th and 8th August.  It would be appreciated if final monies could be paid before date of tour and a reminder that there are still a few seats left.  Names to Gortnahoe Post Office.

Famine 1848 Walk - This Saturday, July 28th at 3 p.m. from National Flag Monument, The Commons to War House.  Be prepared to participate.

Thanks - To all who prepared the Remembrance Garden in Ballynonty for the Mass on Monday, July 16th and all who participated and who provided the beautiful refreshments on the night.

Volunteers required - Work has commenced on Glengoole Hall and over the next six weeks volunteers will be required for power washing and painting.  Dulux ‘Lets Paint It’ project provides the paint for the exterior of the Hall.

Crutches Appeal - For the Jack and Jill Foundation.  Please leave old crutches, mobile phones or ink cartridges at Resource Centre on this Friday, July 27th.

Fennor Cemetery - The annual Mass in above cemetery will be held this Thursday, July 26th at 7.30.
