Bereavement: The death occurred of Mrs.Bridget (Bridie) Kelly, Ballynonty, peacefully at her residence on Monday March 21st 2011. Predeceased by her husband John, son Jim, very deeply regretted by her heartbroken sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her large circle of friends. Removal took place on Tuesday from O’Connell’s funeral home, Killenaule to Ss Patrick and Oliver Church, Glengoole. Requiem Mass was on Wednesday followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. Peace to her gentle soul.
Gortnahoe Folk Choir: There will be practice on this Wednesday March 30th at 8.p.m. in Gortnahoe Church in preparation for Easter. All singers and musicians are most welcome.
Family Mass: The monthly Family Mass for April will take place on Sunday next at 10.00 in Glengoole and 11.15 in Gortnahoe. It is also Mothers Sunday, the theme is “A mothers love is a blessing”
Whist Drive: There will be a Whist Drive in The Hill School, Grange on this Fri April 1st at 8.30p.m. All proceeds go to the local Vincent de Paul Society. All support would be greatly appreciated.
Grange Annual Litter Collection: Will take place on Monday next April 4th at 7.p.m. All assemble in Grange village.
Classses in Gortnahoe Community Centre: Craft classes will resume on this Thursday March 31st at 7.30.p.m. New members welcome. For further information from Theresa Bartley, Susan Gleeson or Ann at Gortnahoe post Office. First Aid Classes will commence on Tuesday April 5th at 7.39.p.m.
