Tidy Towns -

Inch Tidy Towns’ wishes to recruit new members. Inch village is looking resplendent these days and has gained very high marks in the “Tidy Towns” competition thus far and it is hoped that this will continue in the future. However, new members are the life-blood of any club and you should seriously consider getting involved. If you would like to help please contact the Chairman, John Callanan or any committee member.

“Ar scáth a chéile a mhaireann na daoine.”

Fleadh - Congratulations to Muireann O’Dwyer, the talented young harper from Knocka, Drom, who won a host of medals in the Tipperary Fleadh Cheoil in Ballina recently. Muireann was chosen to go forward to represent Tipperary at the Munster Fleadh Cheoil. What a wonderful achievement! “Go n’eirí an t-ádh leat,” Muireann!

Irish Dancing - Did you know that Irish dancing is apparently not just good for your body but also good for your mind? Scientific research has recently discovered that Irish dancing may help alleviate the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, a debilitating condition affecting the nervous system. This is wonderful news for those who suffer from the condition. So get out those dancing shoes! Ar aghaidh libh!
