National Famine Memorial Day - Next Sunday is National Famine Memorial Day. The bells will be rang in both churches at 2pm as a reminder to all to remember and pray for all who died at that time.


Dualla N.S. Book of Memories - The closing date for articles, photos etc., for inclusion in the book is this Friday, 17th May. We are sorry but any contributions after that date cannot be accepted. We are planning to launch the book in June and the editor and publisher have to meet certain deadlines.


Boherlahan Dualla Historical Journal - Outstanding articles for this year’s journal are now due. Please forward your article to Paddy O’Dwyer immediately. Also, if you have any photographs for the journal, contact Paddy or any member of the Society.


Family Fundraising Walk – St. Isidores N.S. Family fundraising walk is planned for this Sunday, 19th May. The walk will commence at Ardmalye cemetery at 12.30pm. It will be roughly a 5km walk. Do come along and support St. Isidore’s Parents Committee in this fundraising venture. For further information, contact Ann (086) 8250447.


PTAA - In the past 12 months, a number of people from the parish living in Dublin, England and elsewhere have requested golden or silver pioneer pins. If anyone feels that they are eligible to acquire such pins, please contact Tommy Wallace or Maura O’Brien.


Parish Sports - The date has been fixed for Thursday, 13th June commencing at 6pm.

U/16C Ladies Football - Congratulations to the U/16C Ladies Football team on winning the County Final v Brian Borus in Bansha recently. The full time score was 3-07 to 3-04. Team was Sarah Hickey, Maeve Delaney, Sarah Delaney, Aoife Kavanagh, Aoife Crosse, Orla Gahan, Lisa Currivan, Aine O’Dwyer, Patricia Maher, Niamh Coffey, Orla O’Dwyer, Aoife Gahan, Casey Hennessey, Clodagh Horgan, Maria Ryan. Subs: Roisin Maher, Caoimhe Perdue, Orlagh Lacey, Catherine O’Dwyer, Sinead Coffey, Katie Moloughney, Lillian Kelly, Rachael Quinlan, Chloe Lahart, Ciara Moloney, Bronagh Morrissey. U/16C Camogie - Boherlahan have emerged group winners after victories over Moycarkey and Ballingarry and have now qualified for the County U/16C semi-final. This will take place after the Junior Cert exams.
