Congratulations – To the Ladies Football team who won the Munster U/14 ‘C’ Football Final on Saturday last, 11th May in Sean Treacy Park, Tipperary. The final score was Tipperary 4–7 to Clare’s 3–6; we especially congratulate our local girls Jean Kelly (Joint Captain) and Katelyn Flemming.

Final Money – Cecilia has collected the last lot of money for Daffodil Day, the total amount collected is €935, much thanks to all who gave so generously for such a worthy cause indeed.

Sincere Sympathy – To Bridie Walsh, Fr. Callahan Park, her brothers Tom and Paddy (Doon), Martin, (Druminda), on the death of their brother Dan Allen in Moyvane, Co. Kerry. To all the extended Allen families, nieces, nephews and friends, sympathy is extended.

Sympathy also to Margaret Cleary, Greenfileds on the death recently of her Mam who died in Wexford. To Margaret, Andy and her extended family sincere sympathy is extended.

Cappawhite N.S. - Would like to sincerely thank all those who contributed to the recent scrap metal collection. A total of €1,475 was raised. A used clothing collection will take place in Cappawhite N.S. from May 20th to May 24th. Items such as clothing, shoes and household linens can be dropped to the school any time during this week. All money raised is in aid of school funds.

Annacarty Childcare - Mid Term Camp (20th-24th May), brochure is now out; don’t delay in booking your days, as places are limited. We have only one pre-school place available for September 2013 to June 2014, if you haven’t already registered please contact Breda Walsh on (062) 60860. We would like to thank all those who attended our A.G.M on Tuesday 30th April.

Exciting News - This year’s summer camp is back!! It’s going to be bigger and better then ever before, filled with plenty of Adventure, Sports, Fun and Laughter, the only problem you will have is your child will not want to leave. Children will be organised into specific groups (depending on age) therefore ensuring your child/children will get the most out of their Summer Camp experience.

Tea-Dance – The Tea Dance held recently was just brilliant, with the excellent music from the great ‘Sam O’ Doherty’, great crowd, beautiful supper and lovely company and of course lots of spot prizes who’d want to stay at home and all for just €8 sure you don’t know what you are missing! Music on the 1st June will be “The Castle Trio”. See you there.
