Fashion Show
A fashion show in aid of Pieta House, the self-harm and suicide prevention group who are opening a centre in Roscrea, will take place in the Abbey Court Hotel, Nenagh, this Wednesday, March 21. Tickets, €20, are still available and include a cheese and wine reception at 7.30pm. The show starts at 8pm.
Flower Club
NENAGH Flower Club will host a floral demonstration on Wednesday, March 28, at 8pm. Rene Fitzpatrick of Coolashine Gardens will demonstrate. The title is Flowers for Easter. Visitors welcome.
Cursa Samhraidh
WITH Seachtain na Gaeilge just gone, and many adults and children having enjoyed using their “cupla focal”, Conradh na Gaeilge is now promoting its Cursa Samhraidh, which will run from July 2-13. Come Dine With Ballymackey FC
DUE to phenomenal demand, tickets for the Ballymackey Come Dine With Me fundraiser are sold out, apart from a few still available for the night in Bobby Reidy’s, Newtown, and the Silvermine Bar. Two additional nights have been scheduled for Andy’s Bar, Sarsfield Street, on Saturday, April 7, with celebrity chef Una Bergin of Una’s Flowers, and Sunday, April 8, in the Tipperary Inn. This last night will feature all five chefs plus a mystery chef. Tickets can be bought through Una’s Flowers or through Gerry O’Rourke at 086-8151748.
