Bee Health Symposium

The Apimondia International Bee Health Symposium, hosted by The Federation of Irish Beekeepers’ Associations and the Ulster Beekeepers Association, will take place in the Citywest Hotel and Conference Centre, on Saturday, March 24th, 2012, and is expected to attract 250 members of the bee keeping community along with their scientific peers.

The Apimondia International Bee Health Symposium, hosted by The Federation of Irish Beekeepers’ Associations and the Ulster Beekeepers Association, will take place in the Citywest Hotel and Conference Centre, on Saturday, March 24th, 2012, and is expected to attract 250 members of the bee keeping community along with their scientific peers.

The conference will address concerns on topics such as the research into the use of non-chemical treatments in bee colonies, necessity of research into bee mortality, guidance plans on bee health, debates on harmonisation of border control and a summary of the latest scientific research.
