Templemore Ladies Football Club

The club held its social night last Saturday 7th in the Old Malt House.  The night included a presentation to our Junior Ladies- Michael Towey did a review of the year and set a high standard for the evening with a beautiful reading of an inspirational poem called ‘Winners & Losers’ by Gary Lockwood!! Gerry O’Hagan, Vice Chairman of Tipperary Ladies Football, was on hand to present the medals to the team led by captain Cathy Greed.  Catherine O’Brien, of NiAs Hair & Beauty (one of our sponsors), later made presentations to 7 girls who represented the club on county teams in 2011 and to Caroline Cadell, county selector.  Emma Holly represented the younger members of our club as she received a set of jerseys kindly sponsored by Tesco. Thanks to all who supported the raffle with the bulk of the prizes won by Conor & Peggy! DJ Eoin provided great music and even managed to get some of our ‘senior’ members to take to the dance floor. Overall a great night was had and the club would like to thank Francis Murphy for providing the food and music on the night and for his support throughout the year.
