Donaghmore - Ballybrophy

Great Story - My weekend was spent on a visit to my cousin in Castledermot who is Stasia Kealy and is getting ready to celebrate her 108th birthday. She is very precious and has always been my oldest and closest relative. On July 5th, Stasia will be 108 years old. She is very frail and not really able for visitors, I had her on a one to one as always. Given time she was able to remember the past and all the time we spent together. She recalled her school days and told me about an old man who suffered amnesia and went into her class room each day to call the roll, she was six years of age at the time. Stasia was an excellent person who was so full of wisdom and deep faith, she never married and lived like a true lady. She was loved by everybody from all walks in life and she made friends who were so proud of her. Stasia was full of wisdom and her advice to me lasted forever. I salute my great cousin on her approaching birthday and Thank God for her most unique life so far.
