Thurles and District Camera Club AGM

At last weeks meeting we completed a very busy schedule. First on the agenda was our Annual General Meeting. In the opening address chairman Neil Ryan acknowledged all the work put in by different members and spoke of the highlights of the club activity which included our annual hosting of the Irish Photographic Federation sitting of the Distinctions which took place at the L.I.T. College last November and also the exhibition of images of Thurles covering scenes from the 1980s and comparable scenes of 2013. This exhibition during the month of August was in conjunction with the Archival Department of Thurles Library and a lot of hard work went into this project which resulted in it being a great success.
