Take your place amongst the stars on Sunday, 21st July when some of Ireland’s biggest Country and Irish acts will present an incredible day of entertainment at Holy Cross GAA pitch, Thurles, Co. Tipperary.
Featuring a stellar line-up of legends, that includes Jimmy Buckley, Mike Denver, Declan Nerney, Paddy O’Brien, Patrick Feeney and Louise Morrissey, this unique event promises to be the country festival highlight of 2013!
Last years inaugural festival proved to be an outstanding success with thousands pouring into the the venue from early morning onwards. The music was great, the weather fine and the atmosphere absolutely unbeatable as patrons came from far and wide to sample what was on offer.
The event, organised by Holycross Ballychaill GAA club and spearheaded by Deputy Michael Lowry - a former player with the club and long standing member -was a huge voluntary team effort and saw parishioners from all over Holycross Ballychaill rolling up the sleeves and ensuring that everything went like clockwork on the day. All of the many hours of planning had paid off and this year the organising committee are anticipating an even bigger turnout, meaning that the stewards and volunteers will have to be on their toes once again.
Gates open at 12 noon for this unique, outdoor event and non-stop entertainment will be provided throughout the day until 7pm. A large dance-floor will facilitate those who wish to dance to the performances and ample seating will also available. Concert-goers will enjoy easy access to and from the festival venue with ample parking on-site, in addition to a host of hospitality facilities that includes a full alcohol licence and food services.
Tickets, priced at just E20.00, are available at local outlets which are displayed on the www.cutloosecountryfestival.com website.
So, mark a date in your diaries to see some of Ireland’s premier Country and Irish acts this July - there can be no better reason to ‘cut loose’ and dance, listen and enjoy!
