Magorban Cemetery Mass - On this Friday, 17th August at 7 p.m. it’s hoped that families will prepare the cemetery for graveyard Mass, by cutting the grass and a general tidy up, for the evenings celebration in an ancient graveyard when both communities gather to pray and remember.
Irish Heart Foundation - Collection on the 26th /27th August in Killenaule.
Tipperary Kenya Project - Fr. Michael Dillon, who is presently working in Kenya, will speak at all Masses in Killenaule/ Moyglass on the weekend of the 18th/19th August. His appeal will be to raise funds to build a girls dormitory in Kenya where he works. Fr. Michael has many relations in Dunguib. His visit here will be coming home amongst his relations and friends in the parish. Special envelopes will be distributed by relatives in the parish on the 18th/19th August. Please take one and return it the following weekend. It is Fr. Michael’s first appeal and we ask you to be as generous as possible.
Successful Pilgrimage - Twenty eight parishioners from Killenaule Parish travelled to Knock taking part on the Cashel / Emly diocesan pilgrimage on 5th August, thanks to all who helped with rosaries on coach, to our parishioners who took part in Mass at the Basilica, prayers of the faithful, choir and helped with the rosary during the procession, to our coach driver Michael who was very helpful. Everyone was very pleased with the day and we arrived home safely.
Congratulations - To the Bourke family, Springhill who were winners of tickets sponsored by Super Valu and Proctor and Gamble, to see Katie Taylor win her Gold medal at the Olympics.
