Owen Wolohan did a fine job on his debut as a walk leader and led 26 A walkers on a great circuit of the Glenary Valley, while Ray Creaney had 20 followers on an fine outing to lovely Lough Curra.
We already have 31 participants confirmed for our ever popular winter gathering in the Scottish Highlands from February 11 to 15 offering walking at all levels from ice and snow climbing to lower level rambling.
To facilitate those with high level ambitions for Scotland, Ollie Walsh is organising a full-day, high-level practice walk aimed at improving fitness levels leaving from outside Cashel fire station at 10am on Saturday next, January 21.
