Nenagh Woman Joins Child Sponsors
Tipperary woman, Mary Hayes, will join a group of child sponsors to visit one of World Vision Ireland’s programme’s in Swaziland, Africa.
Mary, a retired school teacher from Nenagh, will leave for Africa on the 6th of November to witness how World Vision Ireland is supporting a community in the South African country. Swaziland currently has the highest recorded prevalence of HIV AIDS in the world with 26.3% of the population affected. Drought is also common and thousands of Swazi citizen’s face hunger every day as a result of this.
Kathleen returns on the 12th of November.
