The book entitled Searching for Inspiration? was launched at LIT Thurles, Conference Centre, by John Lonergan, former governor of Mountjoy Prison.
Ciaran Lynch, Development Manager, LIT Thurles, welcomed everyone to the launch and briefly introduced the book to the audience.
John Lonergan spoke of how the books throws a lot of light on many of the issues that creep into our conversations day in and day out. The book is well researched, but eminently accessible at the same time.
It is a dip-in-and-out-kind-of-book and provides inspiration every time one goes back to it. It is based on principles that never become outdated. He warmly welcomed the book and recommended it without hesitation.
Dr Michael Ryan, LIT Thurles, Centre for Education and Developing Human Potential, masterfully summarised the book chapter by chapter. He highlighted the breadth of issues discussed, without, however, sacrificing depth.
While the book is relevant to all, it will be an excellent educational resource in schools and colleges, Michael assured. Searching for Inspiration? has also launched in other venues and everywhere it has been very well received.
The book is available in Bookworm, Parish Offices (Nenagh and Thurles), The Bookshop, Nenagh, Walsh’s in Templemore and directly from the author (0504 34994/0872905365)
