Nenagh’s Sheila is back among the medals at British Games

In the same month as winning gold and bronze at the World Transplant Games in South Africa, Nenagh woman Sheila Gregan has gone on to win silver and bronze in swimming at the British Transplant Games in Sheffield.

In the same month as winning gold and bronze at the World Transplant Games in South Africa, Nenagh woman Sheila Gregan has gone on to win silver and bronze in swimming at the British Transplant Games in Sheffield.

Sheila came second in the 50-meter breaststroke and third in the 100-meter breaststroke.

Sheila and other members of Transplant Team Ireland will take part in the Irish Kidney Association’s Run for a Life event on Sunday, September 15, at Park West, Dublin. The fun run, which is sponsored by Astellas, promotes organ donation and celebrates life after transplantation. It is open to the general public, who can walk, jog or run in it.
