Building a Parish Bereavement Support Programme - To give support at a time of Bereavement is one of the corporal works of mercy. There is a wonderful tradition in our parish of so many helping out at these times and long may that tradition continue. Yet, sometimes people are not sure what to do or say at such difficult times. A workshop on these theme is offered by the Social Work Department at Milford Centre, Castletroy, Limerick on Saturday 22nd September and Saturday 10th November from 10.00am to 1.00pm. The aim of this workshop is to enable new Parish Bereavement Groups to consider the type of support they will provide to the bereaved in the locality. If anyone is interested in attending one of these workshops or in forming a Bereavement Group in the parish we ask them to give their names to Fr. Egan or Fr. Brennan.
