Senior Citizens – The Christmas party for the more senior people of the parish will take place in Dundrum House Hotel on Sunday 4th December @ 1 p.m. Friends from Anacarty, Donohill and Dundrum will join with Cappawhite for this great day. Senior Citizens €10, family members and friends welcome as paying guests €25. Names to be given in by Friday 25th November. Spot prizes welcome.

Bingo - There will be an Anniversary Bingo in the Resource Centre on Sunday 27th November at 3.30 p.m. There will be over €3,400 in prizes; also Spot Prizes and Special Christmas Prizes. A great day is assured with lots of prizes to be won.

Recent Deaths – Sincere sympathy to the cousins and relatives of the late Mary Teresa Davern, Newtown, who died in “Acorn Lodge” Nursing Home last week. She was interred in Kilpatrick cemetery. Her many friends in the Day-Care Centre send their sympathy.

Sympathy also to the Phelan family, Ironmills, who’s Mam Sarah died unexpectedly last week, to her daughters Breda and Mary, sons John and Gerard, sons-in-law, Pa and Michael, grandchildren and extended family, after a large funeral Sarah’s remains were interred in Capppawhite cemetery.

Sympathy to Shane O’ Brien, his wife Mary and family on the death of his brother Donnacha, who was interred in St. Corbals Cemetery, Naas last week.

To the O’ Neill family, Ayle, sincere sympathy is extended to husband Billy, daughter Janet, sons Eugene, Brian, William, Damien, Finbar and Alan, all who lost a loving wife and mother.

Our thoughts and prayers are also with her son in law, daughters in law and to her grandchildren, whom Ann adored. To her sisters and her brother and indeed Ann’s extended family sincere sympathy.

After a huge gathering of family neighbours and many friends, her remains were interred in Cappawhite cemetery on Monday 21st.

“Sweet Jesus have mercy on their dear souls”.
