South Tipp ICA update

The Autumn Meeting of South Tipperary ICA Federation was held on 7th October, in Halla na Feile. Mrs. Moira McNamara, President of Dualla/Cashel Guild and Federation President Mrs. Peggy O’Brien said that it was good to be back in Cashel after a good summer.

The Autumn Meeting of South Tipperary ICA Federation was held on 7th October, in Halla na Feile. Mrs. Moira McNamara, President of Dualla/Cashel Guild and Federation President Mrs. Peggy O’Brien said that it was good to be back in Cashel after a good summer.

Peggy and others from the Federation will attend the Winter Council meeting on Saturday, 19th October in Sligo. Guest Speaker was Niamh O’Sullivan from the Lloyds Pharmacy Clonmel, who spoke about ‘Winter Health’. Mrs. Anne Devitt presented the report on Dualla/Cashel Guild in which she spoke about the amalgamation of the Dualla and Cashel Guilds in 2001. Dualla Guild was founded in 1937 and the Cashel Guild was founded in 1941. Mrs. Chris O’Connell was a founder member of Cashel and Mrs. Alice Troy of Dualla and we send them best wishes. Peggy made a very special presentation to Mrs. Angela Lonergan of Tipperary Mid West Radio.
