Lough Derg heritage trail around Ballina

As part of this year’s Heritage Week, acclaimed author and biologist Eanna Ni Lamhna will provide an insight into the unique flora and fauna of Lough Derg and its shoreline in Ballina Community Centre, Ballina, on Saturday, August 17, between 2pm and 4pm.

The talk will take place in Ballina Community Centre on Saturday, August 17, between 2pm and 4pm.

The talk will be followed by a guided tour. Admission is free.

Earlier that day, from 10am to noon, there will be a heritage walk around Ballina and Killaloe, with a visit to St Flannan’s Cathedral and a chance to ring the bells. If you are interested in taking part, meet at the Riverside Park.
