Cabaret - The Urlingford Boxing club which is affiliated with the I.A.B.A. is holding a Cabaret in Doyle’s Bar, Urlingford on Sunday, 2nd June at 9.30pm. Why not come along to support the club also huge thanks to everyone who turned up to support the clubs sparring competition last Friday in Urlingford. Parish Celebration - To celebrate all we do as a parish and the ways in which we support one another and to mark the Silver Jubilee of Fr. Ollie’s ordination there will be a Concelebrated Mass of Thanksgiving in the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford, on Saturday, 8th June at 7pm. Following Mass everyone is invited to The Ball in the Hall which will include craic, ceol, ol agus damhsa. Please come and join us for what promises to be a great night. And it’s free!!
Rosary For Life - Will be held on Saturday, 8th June at 3pm in James’ Green, Kilkenny. Organised by local members of the Pro Life Campaign. Rosary will be followed by Benediction in St Mary’s Cathedral.
Safeguarding Audit - At the invitation of Bishop Seamus Freeman, SAC, the National Board for Safeguarding Children, St Patrick’s College, Maynooth, Co Kildare, will carry out a safeguarding Audit in the Diocese of Ossory beginning on Monday, 17th June. Special Mass - A special Mass for those doing exams, families and friends will take place on Saturday, 1st June at 7pm, in the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford.

Conahy Heritage Society - Will host a Concert to commemorate the bi-centenary of the publication of Thomas Moore’s “The Last Rose of Summer”, which was one of his best-known works on Saturday, June 22 at 8pm in Jenkinstown Park, Kilkenny. First Communion - 2nd June is the feast of Corpus Christi and all the children are invited to St. Patrick’s Church in Graine for the final Mass at 10am for our programme and to a celebration afterwards in the new Hall in Graine.
Tidy Towns - Judging of this year’s competition begins in two weeks time. Last year most areas got improved marks with a few exceptions. Main Street did not impress the judges. We hope they will see a cleaner and brighter Main Street. Your interest and help would be appreciated.
Urlingford/Graine Defibrillator Group - Meeting once a month in the Urlingford Community Childcare Centre.
