Ballingarry Christmas Lights - Will be taken down next Saturday, January 12th, at 10 o’clock. We will meet outside Martin Hanarahans. Every community member in Ballingarry has benefitted either directly or indirectly from the Christmas tree and street lighting so all hands would be welcome to help take down the lights. Do not persume that somebody will do it. We need your support. Please come along and help out.

Sincere Sympathy - We extend our sincere sympathy to the Molloy family, Williamstown, on the death of Jim Molloy. He is deeply regretted by his brothers Milo, Walter, and Johnny, sisters–in-law Frances and Josephine, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, family and his many friends, especially in the GAA fraternity. The large attendance at his removal from his residence to the Parish Church in Ballingarry on Sunday evening was a testament to his huge popularity in the wider community. “Go ndeana Dia trocaire air”. Also Recently Deceased: Veronica Brady, Mohober, and Jim Stokes, Coalbrook.

Collections boxes for 2013 are available on the front pew - If you are not using a weekly envelope and would like to do so please call to the sacristy. Thank you for your continued support towards the parish finances.

Straw - Please take some blessed straw from the Crib and place it in a prominent place in your home. it will be a constant reminder of the Baby born in the stable on the First Christmas and bring a Blessing into your home.

The Old School Committee - Music lessons resume in the school on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you would like to join the other 60 people who are taking music classes each week at €5 per class please come along on Wednesdays for the following classes; Tin Whistle from 6.30 to 7.30pm; Bodhrán from 7pm - 8pm; Banjo from 8.00 to 9.30pm and Accordion from 8pm to 9pm. Guitar lessons on Friday evenings are from 5pm - 6pm for juniors and 6pm - 7pm for Adults. Beginners and Advanced lessons offered.  Please come along as we are hoping to build up our music group for next summer’s music festival.

Ballingarry Parish Journal 2012 - The Parish Journal is still on sale in all local shops & surrounding areas or from any committee member, Price €10. Get your copy / copies now and send it to your loved ones who are overseas before they are all sold out.

Fab Fitness - Classes resumes Monday 7th Jan 9.30am in Mullinahone community hall and Ballingarry Hall on Thursday 10th Jan at the new time of 7.30 sharp!!!! These are fun circuits using light weights for body toning, aerobic exercises for fat burning and stretches at the end, bring a towel/mat and bottle of water.
