“All Shook Up” is a new musical comedy built around a number of songs made famous by Elvis Presley. It takes place in 1955 somewhere in middle America, where one girl’s dream and a surprise visit from a mysterious leather-jacketed, guitar playing stranger helps a small town to discover the magic of romance and the power of rock and roll.
Among the twenty four songs featured in the score are classics like “Heartbreak Hotel”, “Love Me Tender”, “Don’t Be Cruel”, “Cant Help Falling In love” and of course the title tune itself.
Do come along to rehearsals and watch this space for updates over the coming weeks. The Musical Society would also like to thank all the patrons and the sponsors for their support of “Sleeping Beauty”. The pantomime which was staged before Christmas was a great success and would not have been possible without such great support.
