Catholic Schools Week, (29th Jan – 4th Feb):
Purpose of the week is to highlight, acknowledge and celebrate the wonderful contribution that Catholic Schools make to our local community and to Irish life in general. This year’s theme is “Christ’s Living Body active in our world” and is in tune with the Eucharistic Congress to be held in Ireland next June and its theme of “The Eucharist, Communion with Christ and with one another”. During the week we would encourage you, as parents to take time to reflect on what it means to have your child as part of a Catholic school community, and to consider how you can support the work been done in your child’s school. Special prayers at all Masses next week-end
